Id the albums

First ones are all associated with Drws y Coed

Whether any have specififc adit/shaft names - unsure. I've been meaning to have a look at the first one for ages.

I would say 29297 for the second link, but I've not been to the bits in the photos, so someone more familiar could probably confirm.

What number entry best suits the museum/ kilns .

What number entry best suits minera “parc “

The 1987 is meadow Shaft as was at that time.
Buddles and balace bob and 0138 are the Dressing floors at Meadow Shaft after restoration
1622 sections of rising main close by
0168 slightly unsure, could be winding engine near Lloyds Shaft?? Maybe someone else will help.
1680, 1688, 1690, 1693 show the deterioation setting in, now the headframe is all gone but balance bob remains.
0145 looks like deep drainage adit

1526 is the gremlin, its Cwmorthin Adit, should be taken out. Dont know how that got there.

0733 is Parc Day Level
1516 is a cave entrance, maybe take out?

Second batch pretty obvious, 3 are Minera Quarry. Parc Mine is up on the Esclusham Mountain, the day level goes inat the level of the river below

Tom, let my know if you have any left overs after assigning to locations given by Roy. I know there's a couple of things we are missing in that area which may need adding before you can fully assign the photos.

Parc Day level is interesting but I never took pics underground. I can soon put that right though. (smiley)
There is a fall before the level reaches the mine proper, it does reach the shaft on the right hand side of the road up to Worlds End, where there is interesting pipework.
The Minera Deep adit, I have on good authority, is wet crawling and to a blockage. Never been in myself.
Been down Cabin Shaft but not much far exploration.
Meadow shaft is now a disaster area, headframe all gone and balace bob on the final countdown. Its an interesting example of funds being available to do something, but no consideration being given to a strategy for future maintenance.

Next is the manganese & Minera set which I'll get sorted most likely Tuesday now .

In the 'Minera Rf' batch

0583 and 'Lime kiln' are inside the Hoffmann Kiln at 'Minera Lime Works' ID28733
1517 I believe are the older style lime kilns at the same lime works, but a bit further to the East (just by 'Rock Cottage' on the really detailed OS maps)
1520 is the same, an internal view of one of the kilns

1516 is a cave entrance, just to the SW of the Hoffmann Kiln. I believe there may be workings in there too ?

0145 I agree with Roy, looks very like Deep Level Adit ID325. Also see https://ucet.forumotion.co.uk/t389-orange-leete-level - trees look the same

are these at - entry 670 ?

where are these snowdon ones taken at ?

I have done all of yours up to north wales slate ,other than .

rhydymyne ?

Huge amount of surface remains , lift cages , bogies , external buildings etc .

Where exactly do you think this belongs on the database ? It appears a place name ?

Yes, it is a place name and it is vast. Its possible that there is no mine entry, or entries under individual sections. Its adjascent to the A541 north of Mold. The workings are cut by the Milwr Tunnel and the area holds the current access. The tunnel cut a lot of different mines.
The notable remains include Olwyn Goch Shaft for which there is an entry, and a generating station for the pumps in Taylors Shaft. I would take other advice on this, it may need an individual entry with a link to Olwyn Goch. Taylors Shafts are quite ubiquitous. There is actually a "Conquer of Wales Shaft", named after John Taylor. "At the rate you are going you will conqer Wales". Must have endeared them to the locals!

Maybe an entry under the place name with an "includes". See what others think.

A bit more. There is a North Hendre mine just up the road. This has been inaccessible for years as its behind securty fencing as part of a working quarry. However, for a short spell it became abandoned and I was able to get in and take some photos on a film camera. There will also be some pics as part of the Dickie Bird collection.
There is a fine engine house and other stuff. I will have a good look later to see if I can find the photos and get them scanned.

An interesting day out for me up until recently was to visit Hendre Spar Mine (access now lost) and then a surface walk around Rhydymwyne
