In case anyone is wondering, I will be there, but am not booking onto any trips. This is for two reasons. I have been all over the area for years now and would just be visiting familiar places. I also have personal issues of mild arthritis and am unsure about how I would cope, while having no wish to be a nuisance or fill a place that someone else could use. I am still training at my martial arts, basically by taking soluable asprin before the sessions, but even then have to leave the floor early on occasion. But still have my speed and power, odd.

Anyway, looking forward to the event to meet old friendly faces, but will either be at the lectures or off doing my own thing.

It's now little more than a month to the conference. Is anybody here able to confirm that there will be a lecture programme this year? At present the conference website doesn't even have a holding page for the lectures.

A heads up to the organisers who sorted out some trip booking issues for me yesterday - it has saved us from having some challenging issues during the week. I am very grateful.
