Pately Bridge mines

Not been there since it closed after a renewal of mining for Flourspar in the 70's. Freezing cold day and there was ice everywhere so not too safe to enter with only a hand torch.
Used to explore the Cockhill level and workings on the Waterhole Vein in the 70's. They are probably not in a very good condition now.
Cockhill level a few years ago was silted up nearly to the top of the arching after the first unarched section though drainage from a dig was in. I imagine it went much further in back then?

The level was pinched where a shale bed had been cut through so that will have probably collapsed causing the silting up. When i explored it there were seemingly miles of stopes and levels to follow. The stulls at the base of some stopes were dodgy then so have probably collapsed.
