Querns Galore! : The Ardroe Quern Quarry, Assynt

There is another quern stone quarry at
(Some good pictures on the HER and a letter and more information).
It is quite difficult access I believe.
By the way Canmore is being retired in June and replaced by a new site TROVE (not to be confused with the Australian newspaper archive which is also called TROVE).

I think it is near Geology museums of Britain: Staffin (Dinosaur) Museum, Isle of Skye because someone from there helped work out what was there.
Not sure if the young lady in the swimming costume is always there.
Don't forget get High Pasture Cave, when we went there with the local history society we were told about one of Rangers telling them about another one. It involved a long walk to the top of some VERY high cliffs. At the bottom was a cave that was being eroded away and bones etc scattered on the shore.
Also some marble quarries.
