The Ale & Cakes sett spans the road from Pulla Cross to Crofthandy. Its eastern portion is now beneath the United Downs Raceway oval track for stock car and banger racing, while the western side is occupied by a household waste recycling center. Although dumps still exist on the eastern part, they have diminished in size and have been flattened.
