To the north of the prominent Gilvyn Ddu mine on the north west bank of Llyn Geirionydd. Two trial adits, one of which reaches the Gilvyn Ddu lode which is explored for a short distance.

Probably mines leased by Richard Roberts from the Gwydyr Estate in 1780, and abandoned by 19C.
