A compact mine operated by working a northeast-trending mineral vein using a series of shafts aligned in a pattern roughly parallel to the road leading into Blackwater. Mine plans suggest the presence of four additional east-west mineral veins within the mining area, but the shafts corresponding to these veins cannot be found today. Unfortunately, there are no records detailing the mine’s production output.
