Copper and tin mine located in the northwestern area of the Botallack sett. Remnants of the mine include several walled shafts and extensive dumps situated west of the Southwest Coast Path. These features are positioned opposite to the leveled dump of Wheal Hen. Later, both this mine and Wheal Hen were merged with the Botallack Mine. It’s worth noting that all the dumps associated with this mine, along with many others along this coastline, are part of the Aire Point to Carrick Du Site of Special Scientific Interest. Therefore, prior written consent is required from both The National Trust as the landowner and Natural England before collecting mineral samples from these sites.
