3 levels existed over the life of the mine, a very basic mine the tubs were tipped directly into lorries. Site has since been opencasted.

In the early 90s a Pony called bob was used at the mine.
Closed in 1998 after roof of the return air road collapsed. Worked the Upper Pinchin,Pantrhydydwr and Paynes seams.
