Worked as Wheal Calstock prior to 1850. Ceased working by 1868. Reworked in the 1880s as Calstock & Danescombe Consols and Danescombe Valley Mine. Calstock and Danescombe mine was prospected again in 1915 without further action and the site has now been restored by the landmark trust. Ref: Richardson P.H.G.
