1831-1845 with Wheal Andrew. This was a modest copper mine operating on a northeast-trending lode situated just south of Blackwater. Initially, in 1791, it merged with North Wheal Busy to create Wheal Turo. Later, between 1831 and 1845, it operated under the name Wheal Andrew and Boscawen, yielding 5,091 tons of copper ore with an average grade of 5.5%. Subsequently, from 1863 to 1866, it produced an additional 2,136 tons of copper ore. In 1864, alongside copper, it also extracted 33 tons each of zinc ore and arsenopyrite.
