Extension of North Crofty. Operated ENE-trending lodes within metamorphosed killas intersected by elvan dykes. The primary lode was traced for approximately 800 yards across the Red River valley. Unfortunately, the workings are now entirely covered by the junction of the A30 and A3047 roads. However, a shaft dump remains in a nearby field adjacent to the A30 road, around 100 yards further northeast. Between 1847 and 1875, the mine produced 1,720 tons of copper ore with an average grade of 7.5%, along with 1.5 tons of black tin and 125 tons of pyrite.
