Signs of small-scale mining activity, likely associated with early extraction efforts.
Workings can be found on the hillside to the east of the dingle and south of Terfyn Hall, near the Volcnant Telegraph Station. Shafts are located at SJ08508290 and within the woodland of Coed Bell.
