Productive mine high up on the flanks of Lliwedd. A number of deep, narrow stopes open at surface. Remains of mill and other buildings. Pieces of stamping machinery and remains of waterwheel casting are present. The 25’ diameter wheel was cast at Hawarden Iron Works Co.

1829 Estate passes to Sir John Duckinfield on Parry’s death

1838 Joseph Peers of Ruthin becomes sole lessee 2 years after Duckinfield’s death
1838-1843 1,090 tons of ore sold at Swansea
1900 Investigated by South African Gold Mining Syndicate
