Penhal and Larkholes? This tin mine operated four lodes situated south of Common Moor and northwest of Penhale hamlet. It underwent reopening efforts in 1909 and 1916, focused on extracting tungsten ores. Additional prospecting took place in 1942. In 1950, the mine resumed operations, primarily targeting vein quartz, with tin and tungsten ores treated as secondary products.
