Operational between 1853 and 1870, this mine made several attempts at productivity but remained largely unproductive. Records show only 6 tons of black tin output in 1854. The narrow lodes were believed to contain cassiterite, wolfram, pyrite, and fluorspar, but they weren’t rich enough to sustain deep mining operations. A pumping engine house still stands on the sett at SW640324.
