Wheal Providence, also known as South Wheal Tincroft, is a small mine located south of Tincroft Mine and east of Cook’s Kitchen Mine. It operated on a northeast-trending lode, speculated to be the westward extension of one of the Wheal Druid lodes. Grassed-over dumps mark the site on both sides of the road leading to Bosleake. While Wheal Providence reportedly extracted small quantities of tin and copper ores, no specific records of its output are available.
