Situated on the Red Vein at the southeast end of Rookhope village, was initially established in the 1860s with a focus on lead extraction, yielding disappointing outcomes. However, it was revived in the early 20th century for fluorspar extraction, remaining operational until ore reserves were exhausted in 1966. Notably, a remarkable collection of fluorite and galena specimens from this lesser-known mine is housed in the Robert King collection, currently displayed in the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff.
