Description
Remnants of mining activity can still be seen near the summit of Halkyn Mountain, where old shafts and spoil heaps are now grass-covered. These shafts are concentrated in the area just south of the Pentre Halkyn to Babell Road.
History
Worked Pant Vein until 1872 when the sett was taken by the Prince Patrick Mining Company.
