Nothing remains on the site apart from a spoil heap.
1989-1993 Towsbank Coal Company
A standard small mine of the area, it consisted of a building containing a screen and hopper for loading in to road vehicles. There was an office and power house. The 2ft gauge railway ran under a rough road into the adit.
The mine worked the Little Limestone seam.
