Estimated Grid Ref. A small iron mine operated on a northwest-trending lode located southwest of Fraddon, believed to be situated in the vicinity between Benallack and Trewheala farms. Over time, the mine workings have become nearly indistinguishable and cannot presently be identified. However, historical records indicate that between 1859 and 1861, the mine yielded a total of 626 tons of hematite.
