Trial site located in granite country, likely exploited for iron ore, although it’s noted to have reportedly produced 1 ton of zinc blende in 1871. However, according to Dines, this record may have been mistakenly associated with this mine, as finding zinc ore in a lode within granite would be highly uncommon. The grid reference provided marks the location of the shaft at the site.
