The site is located on private property and access is heavily restricted due to several factors, including a tight entrance squeeze, unstable areas within the workings, and its status as an important bat habitat. As a result, casual visits are discouraged. The landowners do permit occasional access, but only by prior arrangement—and this may be withdrawn if notice is not given or if requests become too frequent. Anyone interested in visiting should do so through the Royal Forest of Dean Caving Club.
