Aligned along the east-west lode within the valley. The primary focus of activity seems to have been around New Engine Shaft and Old Engine Shaft situated at the Old Mill section of the sett. New Engine Shaft, positioned south of the stream, displays a small rock and sand dump, while there’s no apparent sign of the adit portal documented by Dines. The Chimney lies between the forestry track and the stream. On the north side of the valley, amidst the woodland, a shaft with a large, heavily overgrown rock dump is reported to contain traces of Galena. Another shaft is towards the woodland’s far end on the otehr side of the valley.
