Two small outcrops of stone can be seen from the nearby public footpath. These co-incide with two of the edges of the quarry but all else is now lost to agriculture.



Shallow surface quarry for building stone. From the time period it was in use the stone was most likely used in the construction of St Peter’s church which lies a few hundred meters to the Northeast.
