Proved the Yorkley Seam at a thickness of 2 feet at a depth of 144 feet. The shaft was sunk to a total depth of 305 feet, and just above the bottom, a cross-measure level driven eastward confirmed the presence of the Coleford High Delf seam at 3.5 feet thick.
