Above the road, there are extensive workings that stretch up to the watershed with Weardale. At NY827357, there’s a hush on one of the Coldberry End Veins alongside the Grasshill Causeway, where primary tabular barite and fluorite can be observed, along with epimorphs in goethite after fluorite. Another hush on the other Coldberry End Vein can be found at NY827355. The site of Coldberry Shop Level, marked by a large grassed-over tip and a ruined mineshop, is located at NY826351. Lastly, at NY817356, you can find the Highfield Hushes.
