Mine workings on the Fron Vein include a large shaft at SJ 1893 6899, which is connected to a stone-built structure featuring two large wheelpits and a platform area. This isolated area of working likely represents an important part of the mining activity along this vein. Other shafts along the Fron Vein may be concealed within the woodland to the west at SJ 1870 6885.

Remains of two wheelpits, and the remains of two stone-built ore bins are visible near the shaft, though the dressing floor area has been heavily disturbed by cattle. A small, rectangular stone building to the west of the shaft appears to have been a mine office or dwelling, later repurposed as a cattle shelter.
