Great Trevagean, comprised primarily of ancient surface workings and some old shafts situated across the northwest portions of Nanquido Downs, Trevagean Downs, and Lower Downs, spanning over a mile. The western section at Nanquido was previously known as Casebo Mine, which exploited the Casebo and Redwork lodes. Between 1837 and 1876, the mine yielded 20 tons of black tin.
