Very little information is available about this mine. It was worked from two short crosscuts, which are now collapsed, leading to an approximately NNW-SSE vein. Despite the limited historical records, the associated dumps indicate that, locally, the operation was relatively extensive. The mine was last opened in the mid-19th century, but this attempt proved to be merely a trial operation, yielding no significant results.
Presently, the dumps from this mine are almost devoid of specimen-quality minerals. However, small amounts of pyromorphite and cerussite can still be found.
