Marked by several shafts, including one located beside the road, directly opposite the entrance to the farm at SJ 2075 5545, and another to the northwest at SJ 2070 5555. To the north of these two shafts, a line of at least five large shafts stretches east to west.

Additionally, to the east, two shaft mounds are visible in the fields southeast of Graianrhyd Farm (SJ 2170 5570). These could be possible trial shafts associated with either Maes-y-Pwll or Creigiog mines.

The vein was worked during the early 19th century, but it appears to have yielded little in terms of rewards. Earp (1958) notes several key features related to the mining operations in the area. These include an engine shaft located to the north of Maes-y-Pwll Farm and a whim to the northwest. Additionally, two more whims were situated to the north of the Engine Shaft, with a small engine operating to the east.
