This mine operated on mineral lodes beneath the eastern part of Camborne town. Its boundaries were defined by North Parade to the north and Stray Park Road to the west. To the east and south, it bordered Dolcoath and Stray Park Mines, respectively. The primary shafts were Engine Shaft, positioned 225 yards east-southeast of the junction of Trelowarren Street and Centenary Street, and Martin’s Shaft, located a further 200 yards east-northeast. Presently, this area is entirely urbanized.
During its operational years from 1854 to 1875, Camborne Consols extracted 1,180 tons of copper ore averaging 6.8% purity, 170 tons of black tin, 4 tons of pyrite, and 200 tons of arsenic.
