A lead mine primarily characterized by a significant opencast area known as Redgroves Hush (located at NY740448), with underground operations conducted from Nattrass Level (with provided grid reference). Young et al. documented the occurrence of small quantities of cinnabar within the smithsonite found on the mine dumps.
