Workings on a vein running parallel to the Fron Issa Vein, approximately 200 yards to the south, within the Cefn y Fedw Sandstone. Large spoil heaps and a substantial shaft west of the road from Gwernymynydd, within an area of overgrown woodland. Ruins of buildings can be found along the road at SJ 2230 6215, adjacent to an area of collapse that may have been a level.

During the late 19th century, the Fron Hall Mining Company carried out large-scale operations, though little evidence of their extensive workings remains today. Historical records mention the presence of an engine shaft and a whim shaft (Smith, 1921).
