The site is now part of Sterts Farm, with the area levelled and grassed over. The main shaft, located at NGR SO 5722 1355 on the opposite side of the road from the farm, is no longer visible. In 1880, the mine produced 618 tons of coal. By 1926, it was owned by the Gwilliam Brothers and employed seven men underground.
