At coordinates SX 4520 6955, the lower section of a small pumping engine house, along with its adjacent boilerhouse and the stump of a stack, remain standing next to the engine shaft of the mine. This site was operated as Devon & Cornwall United Mine from 1840 to 1869, along with George & Charlotte Mine, situated on the same lode across the river. Outcrop workings extend along a steep slope to the west, including a small shaft with a flatrod trench leading towards the engine.
