In dunes of Penhale Sands, approximately half a mile south of the Gravel Hill Mine. The entrance of the adit is situated at the base of the cliffs just west of the workings. According to Dines, the mine exploited an east-northeast-trending lode for tin and copper. However, Hamilton Jenkin suggests that it worked a north-south-trending lode for copper and lead. There are no documented records of the mine’s production output.
