Description

See also: Pendarves and St. Aubyn Consols.Ooperated by exploiting a northeast-trending lode from a collection of shafts situated west to northwest of Vellyn Saundry. These shafts are now mostly hidden from view. Later on, Wheal Nelson became part of the Pendarves United Mines.

In 1863, Wheal Nelson produced a total of 6 tons of copper ore.
