An unusually late and reasonably succesfull mine.
Lower adit has underground headrame used for accessing lower level. Upper adit is open, and can be used to access lower level using rope techniques.

1889 | Mine report published by Edmund Spargo. A cross cut (No 1 adit) had been started to intercept two parallel lodes exposed on the hillside. |
1909 | Production takes off under the Scottish Cardigan Company, proving very rich for a number of years. |
1916 | Total of 1240 tons ore returned by 1916. |
Situated near where the road up the Cyneinog valley terminates.
