A small mine located at the head of Wimberry Slade, it was abandoned in 1996 and later acquired by Dan Howell. The site works the Yorkley seam, a coal vein characteristic of the area. The mine has had intermittent activity, with work suspended temporarily as of 2005, but with intentions to resume.
