This mine was established in 1864 through the amalgamation of Wheal Fancy and Wheal Banns (Prince Royal Mine). Subsequently, its sett likely became part of Tywarnhayle Mine to the west. It’s important not to confuse this mine with Bevas Moor Mine, previously known as Old East Tywarnhayle Mine, as they are unrelated despite some similarities in names.
