This small tin mine, located on the south bank of the Tamar River just west of its confluence with Greenscombe Brook, was previously operated under the name West Clitters Mine. The mining area includes an east-northeast-trending lode intersected by two northwest-trending crosscourses. The mine features a shaft and an adit, with the adit starting in the valley approximately 20 feet above river level and connecting to the shaft at a depth of 40 fathoms below the surface. Recorded production is limited to 2 hundredweight of black tin raised in 1873.
