Trials. Small lead mine operating in the southern areas of three NS-trending lodes crossing the Gannel valley south of Legonna farm. It was active around 1846 and possibly connected to Wheal Rose Consols, situated a bit further north. According to Hamilton Jenkin, most of Wheal Dyke’s workings were on the southern side of the river. The provided grid reference indicates one of its dumps.
