Description
Part of Perran Consolidated. With Rose Adit. Operating from 1826 to 1872, Wheal Rose produced a total output of 12,820 tons of copper and 18 tons of tin. A small preserved engine house, which has recently undergone renovation, stands near Wheal Rose Farm, close to the Scorrier Porthtowan Road.
