Descended to the water table, 150 feet in 1965. Reopened by RFODCC in 1991. The Wych Elm has long since died! A constricted descent over tipped rubbish [ugh!] leads to an 88 foot shaft. Ladders required. This leads to a steep stope, handline needed. About 50 feet down is an area of false flooring. At about 150 feet down the water table is reached.
