Small hillside working with attempt at underground operation.**
Ruins of dressing sheds and ancillary buildings remain on the site. A lower-level adit exists, apparently a trial only. The track down to Prince of Wales quarry is still visible.
This small, remote hillside quarry was active in the 1880s. It possibly attempted some underground working, though this was mainly exploratory. The quarry operated as a subsidiary of Prince of Wales, with slate sawing done at the main mill.
