Part of Balleswidden. The middle section of Balleswidden Mine, identified by extensive, densely overgrown dumps and a chimney near the road to St Just, west of the Leswidden concrete works, corresponds to the site of Hobboys Mine. Operating in intervals between 1837, 1841, and from 1873 to 1878, Hobboys Mine extracted 52 tons of black tin.
