Hersedd is located at the western end of a mineral vein that extends eastward toward the Bryngwiog Sett. The fields surrounding the farmhouse at SJ 1873 6930 contain numerous shafts and spoil heaps, though no significant structural remains are visible. It is likely that the main working and ore dressing areas were situated to the north of the farm, where processing activities would have taken place.
Several large shafts have been recorded in the area, including those at SJ 1882 6917, SJ 1880 6915, SJ 1896 6915, SJ 1883 6904, and SJ 1889 6900. Additionally, mining activity on the Fron Vein, located to the south of Hersedd Farm, is believed to be associated with the Pen Bronwiski sett.
