1865-1870 High Delf Colliery Co.

The gale was initially applied for by Giles Griffiths in 1832. By 1841, it was under the control of the Cheltenham and Forest of Dean Coal Company, which worked it alongside the neighbouring East Slade Gale. The workings likely ceased operations around 1868.
