Part of Wheal Ellis sett. Operated on the western extension of the Wheal Squire copper lodes, yielding 4,600 tons of copper between 1831 and 1834. The sole remaining feature is a shaft burrow situated on the bank of the River Hayle near the bridge, northeast of Trewinnard.
